Snowshoes Route Tena Valley Full Day

For lovers of winter sports we have prepared an activity that takes place entirely in the area of the Aragonese Pyrenees, possibly the best place on the national scene to go on excursions > with snowshoes given the spectacular surroundings.

In the heart of the Pyrenees, these routes, which take place over a full day, start from impressive locations such as the Valle de Tena or del Aragón with the aim of offering you the most spectacular panoramic views.

And, although no previous experience is required, it would be advisable for the participants to have a physical condition according to the duration, around 5 or 6 hours depending on the rhythm of the group, and the effort of the activity that we are going to carry out.

It is enough to be an active person, with a healthy life, capable of walking at an average of 6km/h when the excursion runs on flat terrain and capable of covering a distance of 300 meters per hour during an ascent.

We have the possibility of climbing to the peak of Canal Roya, with a sensational viewpoint on the border with France, or the route that begins at >beech forest of Sansanet and reaches the Ibón ice cream of Estanés, where you can see the circus of Aspe.

The two circuits have a even length fluctuating from 7 to 12 kilometres, with a positive difference in elevation between 500 and 700 meters . They are still simple routes that do not require a higher technical level.

But it is also that all our hikes are carried out under the supervision of a mountain instructor with extensive experience in this field who will accompany you throughout the entire journey. He will also take photographs of the day and will give them to you when it ends.

On the day of the activity, it is recommended to bring warm clothing, suitable for winter sports, glasses if it is sunny, protective cream and mountain boots or similar, hard footwear in short. The rest of the equipment that you will have to pack, that is, the snowshoes to walk on the surface and the sticks, we will provide you with before the march.
