Snowshoeing in Cuello de Arenas in Nerín 4h

We have what it takes to break the monotony in style, and never better, because we are going to do a snowshoe excursion that will leave you fascinated. Heights, snows and privileged landscapes that can only be known in this way ... what more could you ask for. A half-day crossing, of about 4 hours, where we will enter the Ordesa National Park to see the Cuello de Arenas .

If you were looking to change your winter routine, that is, hibernate without leaving home, now you have no excuse, because we have an adventurous plan in the Huesca Pyrenees , with a guide and all the necessary materials. Our snowshoe route is located in Nerín , a town in the municipality of Fanlo , in the Huesca region of Sobrarbe .

Our snowshoe crossing begins after taking the turnoff from the Nerín cross-country ski slopes, on the first straight. From here we start a walk with a slight slope until we reach a barrier that prevents access to vehicles. From here "officially" begins our snowshoe ride that will direct us to Mondoto and Cuello de Arenas as we cross a path. It will be an incredible and enjoyable journey through its gentle slopes and long roads.

So we will continue for 1:15 hours more or less until we suddenly come across a fountain where we will take the opportunity to rest and enjoy the landscape. Once ready, we will continue until suddenly, we will meet at Mondoto peak . Being a snowshoe route easy and of progressive difficulty, we will reach this summit with relative simplicity. And from here, get ready, because the landscapes are from another world, we will feel like in a distant and unreal planet while from the heights we see the Añisclo canyon , the Las Sestrales canyon , the Tres Sorores and the Tres Marías . All this with the Añisclo hill in the background.

Once we have enjoyed these views enough, we will return to the Plan of the Raft to continue with this snowshoe route until we reach a bridge that passes over a stream . From here, we can see the Cuello de Arenas in the distance and we will reach it after a 30-minute walk. Here we will be isolated from any sound, wrapped in absolute silence while we contemplate the magnitude of the mountains that will surround us as we are in the middle of a large esplanade of Cuello de Arenas . From here, we will have finished our journey and we will start our way back home.
