Rasos Peguera snowshoe initiation route 2:30h

The snow season is here and as a good lover of white prints, we have planned a very special snowshoe route since we will travel through the mountains and > Rasos de Peguera forests. A plan that you cannot miss!

The journey begins in the Rasos de Peguera parking lot. Here, our experts will give you a demonstration of how to make good use of the rackets, the essential features and above all, how you should walk with them.

Once we have all the knowledge learned, we will take a tour of the valley so that you can see some of the most magical places in the area passing through the highest point of Rasos de Baix of more than 2050 meters where you can see incredible panoramic views of the mountains.

As it is a circular route, the first part until we reach the summit will be uphill, but then we will go down as far as we have climbed in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is a route of about 3.5 km, where even the little ones in the family can participate as long as they are over 8 years old.

We will cross uneven levels, so we recommend the use of comfortable and appropriate clothing: neck warmer, hat, sunglasses, mountain boots, as well as gloves, a coat and waterproof pants.

Put on your backpack and pack everything you need to make the trek, don't forget food and water. In addition, it is always advisable to wear sun protection. Snow burns too!
