Snowshoeing San Juan Valley Sierra Nevada

We have the opportunity for you to enter the Sierra Nevada to enjoy its landscapes like never before and like few others can. Famous for its slopes filled with an impeccable blanket of snow, we will enter it to take a snowshoe route through the San Juan ravine and it will take us about 2:30 hours to complete approximately.

This time we will visit Sierra Nevada not to ski as everyone usually does, but to contemplate the best views of this natural park Granada in the municipality of Monachil , and we will achieve this with a snowshoe excursion that will leave us surprised, as we will discover another way to have fun with the snow while discovering new corners like true expeditionists.

We will have a circular route that will start from Hoya de la Mora and will allow us to have a privileged view of the northern part of the Pico de Veleta and the Pico de Alcazaba. Upon leaving we will cross towards El Atalayón Chico and El Atalayón Grande and merged in their landscapes, we will continue along the ridge until Los Tajos del Campanario, when we reach this point, we will be at 2869 meters high, where we can have the best views of the Guarnón Valley and the San Juan Valley.
