Description of Snowshoeing in the Sierra de Guadarrama, 5h

Departing at 9:30 a.m. from the Navacerrada Port Parking, we will ascend through the Ski Resort to Alto del Telégrafo. Little by little we will ascend easily until we reach the upper part of Siete Picos (2,138 m) from where we will have incredible views of the Sierra de Guadarrama.

We will walk along this comfortable balcony passing through the peaks that make up this mountain massif (2,138 m) towards the Fuenfría valley.

We will descend along the Alevines Trail to Collado Ventoso (1,896 m), from where we will connect with the Schmidt Trail, covered with a thick Scots pine forest, continuing along the northern slope of Siete Picos in the direction of Puerto de Navacerrada where we will finish the route.
