Snowshoe route in Javalambre Level 1 3h

Discover the snowy landscapes from Valencia by approaching the Javalambre ski resort with the help of our snowshoes and the knowledge of the terrain that our instructors. With these excursions you have the opportunity to get to know the forests located on the sides of the slopes and to advance through spaces where you cannot walk without this material on your feet.

Before departure you should prepare yourself with clothes with which you will be well warm during the entire journey. Footwear has to be sports or mountain shoes to suit the snowshoes, if it is made of waterproof material even better. Keep sunscreen in your backpack and if you are one of those who usually wear sunglasses , bring them. This way the reflection of the light on the whiteness of the snow will not bother you.

With at least 5 participants we will embark on a path that will take us around 3 hours to complete. To do this we will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the ski resort. We do not have a fixed itinerary for all groups because we determine it by looking at your physical condition. If you are used to hiking we can reach the Pico de Javalambre.

In addition to the rackets, each person is given two canes with which we support ourselves to advance more firmly. After the first steps we will have become accustomed to this way of walking and we will be able to begin to pay attention to the details of the environment that the guide will explain to us if we ask him our questions.
