Description of Urban technological camp My Friend is a Robot

The youngest children will be able to get their first exposure to technologies thanks to this urban camp which we call "My Friend is a Robot".

It is a program for children between 5 and 8 years old, and takes place from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 14:00.

We will carry it out at the Amanecer school, in Alcorcón, in these shifts:

From July 3 to 7.
From July 24 to 28.

In this urban camp we will introduce the little ones to programming and robotics using different tools, specially designed for children to learn programming concepts through play:

Thanks to the beesBee-Bot, we will work on orientation.
Through Dash&Dot we can program using a very simple language called Blocky. It is controlled with a smartphone or tablet.
Lego WeDo will allow us to build robots using motors and sensors that will be connected to the computer.

All tools used are 100% safe.
