Campus Creation Robot Car Bilbao 5 days 9-12 Years

If by summer you had no plans for your little ones, we offer you this technology camp at the Jesuits College of Bilbao which is made of Monday to Friday for five hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., for children with ages between 9 and 12 years old. You can choose between two dates in July: from 3 to 7 or from 17 to 21.

The other alternative is, due to the proximity to your homes, its facilities or because the dates are more appropriate to your context, that you come to carry out this same workshop at the AS Fabrik Urban Laboratories with three different sections for which the user chooses the most suitable: from June 26 to 30 , from July 10 to 14 > or from August 28 to September 1. This is a different campus than anything you have seen before, as it is oriented towards building a robot.

As we told you. It is arobot made up of 146 blocks, 4 motors and 4 omnidirectional wheels. Don't tremble yet before such numbers because we are convinced that, thanks to the help of our qualified teachers, they will pull it off without any problem.

In addition, our robot has the most modern technology, as certified by the mechanism of its special wheels, named Meccanun >, which allow the automaton to move diagonally and even rotate 360 degrees on its own axis. Of course, they will also learn how to program and then control the robot with a Micro:bit board, plus easy to use than it seems at first.

Previously, they will have to learn to program with MakeCode, similar to the Scratch program, a block language that is used to process the operation of its 4 engines. Finally, our robot incorporates a HuskyLens camera that empowers our creation to detect objects, colors and shapes.

This is a breakthrough, because, in this way, our workshop to manufacture the Yahboom OmniWheel robot stands out from the rest by integrating this device into robotics and automation, giving our students the opportunity to work with advanced technology in image detection (and subsequent processing).
