Taking the Minecraft universe as a base, working around its mechanism, we must warn that what we are going to propose to you is not about spending hours playing this video game. It wouldn't be bad, of course, but that's not our goal. In any case, what we suggest below is equally stimulating and fun.

For 3 days in a row, from July 26 to 28, one of our specialist teachers in programming will teach a Mario campus Educational kart made up of lessons of five hours a day, from 09:00 to 14:00, for children between 7 and 9 years old at the Jesuit School of Bilbao, located in the Indautxu neighborhood.

As we explained at the beginning, it is not about picking up a controller or hitting the computer keys while we spend time completing phases or challenges of the game. We are going to go much further by immersing ourselves in how Minecraft works, our students will learn to program tasks in Scratch within Minecraft. /strong>.

This helps them incentivize the creative part thanks to the ecosystem of the game in its Java version, with the MODs they will have the possibility to create textures of various materials, highly realistic constructions, insert photographs or configure your own Minecraft server > to share it with your group of friends. But they are not the only things we will do.

Remember that the procedure used by Minecraft is extremely similar to that followed by LEGO, that is, the construction of worlds with 3-dimensional blocks, which leads them to implement aspects related to mathematics , physics, marketing or logic. This will be the germ that develops your spatial, design and programming skills.
