Via ferrata El Risco mid-level picnic and photos

Come and enjoy an intermediate level via ferrata in Cantabria, in the heart of the Asón Valley, from where you can see the town of Matienzo with another perspective. It is a route of 250 metres with an 80 drop in elevation that takes about 2 hours, although it depends on the level of the group.

This via ferrata is divided into two sections that classify it as an intermediate level, ideal for those looking for something more than an initiation activity. The first consists of a horizontal crossing whose route runs under a tuff, while the second is a vertical section that ends with a Nepali bridge.

This experience has two exits: a more intricate one where the protagonists are the athletic steps and another more direct one in which you will have to climb a cable, guaranteeing the sensation of verticality. Both end at the Nepalese bridge, from where we will return to the car park without leaving the path.
