Monegros Mushing Club arises from the passion of a group of residents of the town of Perdiguera for this sport. We have always liked animals, and mushing introduced us to the possibility of playing sports with your pets. In this way, we have turned our dogs from being mere "garden items" into true athletes. Coming back from running with my pets after about 4 or 5 kilometers and lying down next to them to rest is one of the most incredible sensations I have ever experienced.
For a few years we had known about the sport of mushing through the Pirena race, and we believed that it could only be practiced on snow. We learned some more details about this sport: land modalities, dogs, other competitions...
We thought about founding a new club for several reasons: There was none in the province of Zaragoza, too. Not having experience put us back when it came to joining other clubs.
