Welcome to Casa da Guitarra, a company that was born in 2012 with the aim of creating a place to disseminate, promote and build typical Portuguese guitars.

The idea was through the passion for playing the viola with the dream of preserving the Portuguese musical culture such as fado.

In our store, in addition to selling our instruments we also organize concerts, hold workshops and offer music classes, you can even enjoy a >permanent exhibition of exclusively Portuguese string instruments!

At Casa da Guitarra you can buy different traditional Portuguese string instruments such as fado guitars, classical guitars, and ukuleles! along with the necessary accessories.

In addition, you can also repair your string instrument, and also build it! You can make everything from Fado, Portuguese and classical guitars to Andolinas and Bandurrinhos.

Normally we give a fado concert of approximately one hour in the center of Porto. A unique and magical experience that will make you feel the typical musical tradition of Portugal up close!
