In case of celebrating an event, you would also have a ticket to be able to combine it to your liking and live a full experience.

Teruel is a city that shapes its history around Mudejar art and the legends of the Middle Ages. As the main emblematic place, there is the Mausoleum of the Lovers of Teruel . Its story moves everyone who hears it for the first time or from our guides. The building was designed by Alejandro Cañada and you can learn about its history by visiting the different rooms it houses. In Sector I you will place yourself in the context of history with the social, political and cultural characteristics of the XIII century. You will continue with the Story of the Lovers, Juan Martínez de Marcilla and Isabel de Segura. In Sector III you will see the works that its history has influenced, and then you will visit the Lovers' Rest with its mausoleum.

Another destination is the Church of San Pedro from the 14th century. It is the quintessential construction of Aragonese Mudejar art, based on a plant with a single nave and an apse. The side chapels are crowned by the typical ribbed vaults. During the visit inside, you will contemplate the reforms suffered in the pictorial aspect. Its Cloister is also open to the public and forms one of the four cloisters that are still in Aragon. It has neo-Gothic decoration and was the place where the Lovers of Teruel rested.

On the outside, there are the Apse and The Gardens of San Pedro , declared World Heritage by Unesco next to the Mudejar Tower. The mixtilinean arches and the green and white glazed ceramics prevail that delight everyone who contemplates it. The interior is reminiscent of an old Jewish quarter. The Tower went from being an element of fortress to a construction fully coupled to the urbanization of the city. It consists of three floors and currently you can go up to the bell body. You will be able to access the Ándito , where you will walk around the outline of the building from the outside, contemplating the stained glass windows and the rose window.

Come and discover Teruel from its deepest history with the Amantes de Teruel Foundation .
