Description of Guías de Galicia

The Professional Association of Tourist Guides of Galicia wants to show you the richness of our Autonomous Community through our guided tours. You will get to know one of the most important areas of Spain by taking tours of the historical, cultural and gastronomic aspects of the most important Galician cities.

Our visits have a high pedagogical component since we want each and every one of our users to be able to know all the characteristics of our land, making the most of the experience and obtaining an unforgettable memory. Do not hesitate to contact us since the possibilities of making our itineraries are endless, three of which are the main ones: Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña and Vigo.

In the land of the Apostle you can take daily guided tours, led by qualified and experienced Guides who will introduce you from the most emblematic places to the most unknown legends for the general public. You will leave from the Plaza de Platerías reaching the Cathedral, where you will see the Obradoiro next to Quintana and Inmaculada. In addition, you will arrive at the Casa del Peregrino and Fonseca, the anteroom of the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos and the Monastery of San Martín. Finally, they await the Casa de la Troya and the better known streets such as Franco, Raiña and Vilar.

Within A Coruña you will have at your disposal visits made each and every Saturday, where you will enjoy the company of a guide authorized by the Xunta. You will start in the Plaza de María Pita, continuing through the Church of Santiago and the Plaza de Azcárraga. Later, you will reach the Collegiate Church of Santa María and the Plazuela de las Bárbaras. The end point of the visit will be the Jardin de San Carlos.

On the other hand, in Vigo you can choose between three types of visits made every weekend. If you want to know the Old Town and the Ensanche, you will start from the Statue of the Bather. Those who seek to know the Upper Zone of the Historic Center, will enjoy the visit from the Fortress. Finally, those who want to enter the Quiñones Museum and the Historic Gardens will start from the main entrance of the Pazo.

Remember that you can also visit cities such as Ferrol, Lugo, Pontevedra and Ourense , having various itineraries within which you can learn about various aspects of each location. In addition, you can also walk the Camino de Santiago from the French side, the way to Finisterre and various more unknown routes.
