From the Fregenal de la Sierra Tourist Office we invite you to discover the historical and artistic heritage of Frenegal de la Sierra. From the town hall we organize guided tours for all tourists who come to this Extremaduran municipality. You can choose between:
Quick route , 1 hour and 30 minutes of tour through the streets and monuments of this town, named a Site of Cultural Interest. Of the visit, the churches of Santa Ana or Santa María stand out.
Complete route , a 2-hour itinerary that includes a visit to the Sanctuary of Los Remedios and an encounter with the Virgen de los Remedios, patron saint of the town. There will be a 6-kilometer trip.
In order to carry out these visits for free, a minimum of 20 people with accommodation in hotel establishments in Frenegal de la Sierra is necessary. In the case of being a smaller group of tourists, they may join other previously organized groups.
You can be accompanied by a private guide, but to access the sanctuaries it is necessary to be accompanied by a local guide.
