Carros de Foc

It was the year 2000 when the team of Carros de Foc began to roll along the roads of the National Park of Aigües Tortes i Estany de Sant Maurici.

Next summer we will celebrate our tenth anniversary by pulling the car and we want to share it with you, for this, we have prepared a small program of activities additional to those of always. These are the novelties that we propose for the Open and for the Sky Runner.

It was in 1987 when some shelter guards in the area decided to make the crossing Pallars - Ribagorça - Aran, the tug, in a single day. It wasn't a competition, just a way to visit the other guards and chat for a while.

Someone, we don't know exactly who, or why, called her Carros de Foc, and since then it's summer or winter, when someone makes the crossing in the day, the voice runs from refuge to refuge as fast as the wind crosses the hills: “ Today the Foc cars pass "

Since that summer of 1987 there are many mountaineers, walkers or runners who have enjoyed the crossing of Carros de Foc and there are many who repeat the experience, because there will always be corners full of beauty yet to be discovered.

Our goal is to spread the love we feel for these mountains and make known the beauty of an extraordinary journey, which will surely also provide us with unique experiences.
