Description of Casa de las Paneras

Casa de las Paneras is a company located in Santa Cristina de la Polvorosa, a beautiful town in Zamora. We are dedicated to carrying out hiking routes for all our clients, where we provide numerous tours in different places:

  • Archaeological route of the valleys of Benavente: route in which you can see megalithic constructions, forts and the remains of a Roman camp, as well as visit the archaeological classrooms and an interpretation center that allows you to get closer to the past of the towns that inhabited these lands. Likewise, there will be tours through areas such as Manganeses de la Polvorosa, Morales del Rey, among others.
  • Sanabria and Carballeda. You will be able to enjoy places as unique as mountains, natural parks, lakes, and an endless number of the most wonderful tourist and natural landscapes.
  • The lagoons of Villafáfila. The climate, the open landscape full of the Villafáfila Lagoons Reserve, richness and diversity of wildlife, birds of all kinds, etc.
  • Romanesque of Zamora: enjoy the Romanesque art that our ancestors left in Zamora, such as the Cathedral or the medieval town.
  • Gothic of León. The capital of the ancient Kingdom of León surprises the traveler who approaches it for the first time, with its admirable Historical-Artistic Monuments that are integrated into a modern city full of garden squares, parks, fountains and wide avenues.
  • Cultural Salamanca. University city par excellence, known throughout the world for it and for its artistic wealth: cathedrals, palaces, churches,... artistic trends such as Romanesque, Gothic, Plateresque and Baroque.
  • The Silver Route. Great Roman road that linked the towns of Mérida and Astora, which constituted the authentic backbone of the Spanish west two millennia ago and which had its natural extensions to the cities of Gijón, to the north, and Seville, to the south.
  • Other routes such as Astorga and La Magaritería and Los Arribes del Duero.

If you want to know the best hiking routes, we will be waiting for you here. Get in touch with Casa de las Paneras and you will not regret it.
