At Club Copacabana we want to publicize the practice of kayak surfing, a very spectacular sport that consists of surfing the waves as if we were on a surfboard, with the difference that we have a paddle to propel ourselves into the wave, which allows us to make the most of the thrust to perform pirouettes that are impossible on a board.

Kayaks are of various types, depending on the style of surfing you want to practice. In the modality most similar to conventional surfing, kayaks are used with very marked edges and some also with keels, and in a more acrobatic style, smaller Rodeo boats are used, with the tips more raised to easily perform pirouettes and acrobatic jumps. air.

Kayak surfing is practiced all over the world, although it has greater interest in places like:

• All of northern Spain, on beaches in Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country.
