Casa Do Queixo offers your children an unforgettable stay, where they will learn to live and relate to nature, as well as respect for it thanks to our multi-adventure summer camps. An experience that, literally, will seem taken from a story, specifically from The Animated Forest by journalist and writer Wenceslao Fernández Flórez.

We are in the A Coruña town of Grixalba where we open the door to our camps in the months of July and August and very close to the place where the film of the same name by José Luis was filmed. rope. Our facilities consist of a swimming pool, hostel, museum, an outdoor tent, farm-zoo, garden, dining room, play areas...

Your children will stay in our hostel with a capacity of 60 places, where they will do water games, workshops, evenings, night games, and they will also get to know our Farm School and all the animals. that are found in it.

We will offer different themes in the camps, but always carrying out activities related to agriculture, leisure and free time and nature in which young people will discover the importance of the environment.

At the camp, boys and girls will discover the importance of a healthy diet, the benefits of permaculture, the uses of many plants and weeds within our reach, such as to heal wounds, repel mosquitoes... They will also see what the needs and care of farm animals, and they will soak up the stories and legends of our popular culture, visiting the house museum and learning how our ancestors lived in the villages.
