Do you think that because there is no sea, Extremadura cannot fish ? That's because you don't know how many reservoirs our community has, full of fish!

With Atutiplan , you will explore the best areas in which to find various species, such as black bass and pike, practicing different types of fishing:

• Fishing from the shore : We will spend a full day on the shore of the reservoir.
• Fishing from boat : we will spend a day sailing and anchoring with our boat to find the best schools of fish in the reservoir. The boat is a Daganz 380 fishing, with a 20hp Honda engine.

If you already have experience and do not need a professional to advise you on this adventure, you can rent us all the fishing gear and go on your own.

The reservoirs where we can go fishing are:

• La Serena.
• Orellana.
• Zújar.
• Garcia-Sola.

Did you know that Extremadura is the community in Spain with the most inland coastline? We have a whole diversity of reservoirs, which now, thanks to Atutiplan , you can discover by kayaking .

You can choose to navigate in the following reservoirs , since we have the necessary permissions to do so:

• Garcia-Sola.
• Zújar.
• La Serena, which is the largest in the entire country.
• Orellana.

In July and August, we do the walks in La Serena , from Peñalsordo beach. If it is not in summer time, you can choose the one you want.

We have kayaks for you to go up to 4 adults and 2 children . The routes can be guided or only equipment rental.

With Atutiplan , hiking is not just walking. It is discovering landscapes through which generations and generations have passed, knowing the stories that our ancestors lived before us.

Our hiking routes will bring you closer to the cultural and historical heritage of Extremadura. We can see vestiges of Roman times, or even rock art.

The routes are made around the town of Cabeza de Buey , in the region of La Serena. We have options for all levels, being able to take short paths or even go up to the GR115.

Do you like going to spend the day in the mountains? So, the time has come to give climbing a try. Atutiplan will teach you everything you need!

climbing is both an adventure sport and a personal challenge. The further you go, the further you'll want to go next time.

We can offer you a special initiation to climbing session .

If you already have the basic notions, you can come with us to a sport climbing session, which we will do on one of the routes in the Sierra del Calvario , in Cabeza del Buey.

We can also scale in other zones . You can suggest a place you like, and we will study the feasibility!

With Atutiplan, discover the remains of rock art that flood the peripheral mountain ranges of the La Serena region.

In our town, Cabeza del Buey, we have the Interpretation Center of the Rock Painting of Extremadura. Now it is open for you, so that you know the rock art in our community.

This is the starting point of our activity that continues along a path to this natural environment where you can observe first-hand this art of our ancestors in the different coats or caves that surround us.

Taking advantage of our location, we can also take you to know the main monuments of the urban area of Cabeza de Buey. Here are concentrated, for example, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Bethlehem, a stop where it will be worth stopping to spend part of the visit.

We adapt the activity to groups of schoolchildren, specialists or small groups, so that everyone feels perfectly cared for during your visit.

Come and enjoy this experience, we will put the oldest history at your feet.

From Atutiplan we offer you a direct encounter with the birds that inhabit our environment. This area has the declaration of a ZEPA zone and is the largest extension in all of Europe with these characteristics. Therefore, if you want to see several native species up close, this is the best place for it.

The environment we visit is mainly home to steppe, and is surrounded by mountain ranges and reservoirs from which birds have made their habitat. We suggest that you enjoy a day in nature observing a great variety of them: steppe, impressive raptors, aquatic ... There are endless species here that you can photograph, as well as observe.

There are two main areas:

- Los Humedales de la Serena : just to the north, created by the dammed waters of La Serena and El Zújar. Herons and kingfishers are common here.

- The pasture and the forest : where the cranes take refuge in times of cold temperatures. Its bushes and vegetation protect species such as black kites.

We will transfer you in a 4x4 vehicle to the most suitable points for the sighting. We will also take care of offering you the food and drink that you will need to spend the day with us.
