It consists of an urban center plus some scattered homes, known as cortijos. It is located in the Sierra de los Filabres, about 8 km from Macael, in the Marble Region. a town that will surprise you with its beauty.

We would start the day from El Cortijo, from there we would start the Path called Era de Juan Diaz, where we would make a short stop to enjoy good views of the surroundings at about 1500 meters of altitude.

We would continue the descent to the Fuente de San Jose, where we would have a snack, and we would continue along the Arab irrigation canal to the town of Laroya. And we would return along the old royal road to the Cortijo Rural El Molino de Laroya.
