Karakorum Adventure

Karakorum Adventure moves around the island of Mallorca with the most attractive routes and plans combining the sea and the mountains. The sun that prevails almost all year round on the island is another element in favor of practicing adventure sports in this area of the Balearic Islands.

We show you a different vision of Mallorca than we are used to, more natural and wild.

We have these adventure proposals :

• Canyoning: Routes of astonishing beauty between the mountains and the coast reaching the sea itself.

• Climbing: Sporty and classic routes through the Sierra de Tramuntana and other places on the island.

• BTT routes: The bicycle as a dynamic and clean means of transport along routes bordering the coast.

• Hiking: We will see different parts of Mallorca through trails and paths between forests.

• Balloon ride: We climbed very high to contemplate Mallorca in great detail.

We also organize special team building events to encourage groups of companies.

You will find some of the most impressive ravines in all of Europe in Majorca, where the special calcareous conditions have formed some very unique canyons. The presence of the sea adds spectacularity and appeal to these tours.

We will descend from the highest part of the ravine using the technique of rappelling down walls and waterfalls, crossing pools and water slides to the lower part.

We have ravines like :

• Pollença

• Vall Fosca

• Barranc de Coanegra

• Barranc na Mora

Some of them literally end up in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, being a finishing touch to the unequaled journey.

In winter the mild temperatures will not make us feel cold and in summer the cool conditions of these enclaves will help us escape the heat.

The monitors will provide the descent and swimming materials for the ravines before starting. They will give a small informative talk that will guide us on what we will find.

The good weather almost always prevailing on the island of Mallorca allows you to take out the mountain bike and discover its trails full of adventures and surprising landscapes. The mountain and the sea are so close that they practically merge.

A very clean and environmentally friendly means of transport, in full contact with the elements of the island.

We offer you this program of routes through Mallorca :

• Sa Tudossa: Route of medium difficulty with 11 kilometers of itinerary in which the views of the bay of l’Alcudia stand out.

• Cala Ratjada - Artá - Canya: 4 hours to complete more than 38 kilometers. Rural area of the towns of Capdepera and Artá.

• S’esquena llarga: 18 km in just under 4 hours through the Llevant peninsula.

• S’albufera de Mallorca: 20 km in 3 hours of route through the Natural Park of s’Albufera de Mallorca.

You will visit the most hidden places on the island with the company of the guide who will teach us more interesting things about the route.

Mallorca , with its Mediterranean and island climate that gives it mild temperatures in winter and warm in summer, is an ideal place for hiking . The island combines the beach and the coast with the mountains and high peaks .

The trails are well signposted and have slopes for all requirements with routes such as these:

• Llevant Natural Park: It has a total distance of 11 kilometers to be covered in approximately 4 and a half hours. We will see mountains and coast in a fantastic contrast.

• Camí Son Castelló: 10 kilometers and a duration of 4 and a half hours.

• Cap Farrutx: It reaches 16 kilometers and 5 hours or 5 and a half hours of journey.

• L’Ofre: approximately 13 km in almost 6 hours.

We will see areas of Mallorca that are out of the ordinary, rural environments that take us back to other times.

We organize groups with guides to do the tours. It is essential to be well hydrated throughout the journey and with some food to regain strength.

On the island of Mallorca climbing takes on a special dimension with the presence of the Mediterranean Sea washing its coasts. You can climb a few meters from the sea in an experience hardly possible in other places. When the heat hits, combining climbing and a bath is a great idea.

The island's rock walls allow climbing both at sea level and in the Tramuntana mountains. High mountain or coast to climb the routes arranged overcoming gravity.

The way to climb can be by classic style or sport style , and even combining both.

The classic is performed on large walls and spiers and requires very good physical conditions. The sporty one is more apt to start by climbing through shorter areas.

Marvel at the panoramic views of the island of Mallorca and the Mediterranean Sea with a balloon ride hundreds of meters above the ground. The city of Palma, the Tramuntana mountains, the coves of the coast ... The balloon will show you everything.

Balloon flights present these two flight options :

• Exclusive flight: You will only be in the basket with your friends or family on a trip at your leisure through the heights of the island. Or with your partner.

• Group flight: Share the experience with other people you don't know by making friends in the heights.

We will take to the skies for an hour or so, including the assembly of the balloon and its spectacular inflation as well as its collection.

We celebrate the journey with cava, being able to immortalize the journey with our camera.

At Karakorum Adventure we promote group work and group experiences with incentive activities or team building in Mallorca . We motivate team members with a catalog of proposals throughout the island.

Communication and coordination are essential in these outdoor activities enjoying the good weather prevailing in Mallorca.

We do gymkhanas, special tests, competitions, etc. Everything to develop very profitable facets for the day to day work.

Once the activity is finished, the use of it will be assessed, evaluating what has been accomplished, what has failed and how to change and improve it.

The monitors will organize the groups for the different activities promoting coordination among all the members.
