The chaparral is located in the valley of la barquera, next to the source of the odiel river. With good access, parallel to the 433 national road and a great variety of royal, neighborhood and livestock roads, which communicate with the different towns of the mountains, ideal for the development of active tourism activities. Madre Sierra Donkey Rides takes you to know the most beautiful places in our region on the back of one of these precious animals.

We make equestrian routes through itineraries already drawn, enjoying full contact with our natural environment, and all this within the enclave of the towns of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park and mining area.

We consider this activity of vital importance, since the donkey is an animal that is in danger of extinction. Given that the reason for this sad situation is that the donkey stopped being used for field work, we want to give it a new utility and thus preserve the need for its presence in our society.
