Turbycis we are a great family that has a passion for our land and for its birds, its plants, its landscapes and its deposits. Also for its stories, traditions, crafts and for all the artistic resources that we have.

Over the years we have been encouraged to know our flora, our oldest history and the most recent ethnography, and we want to share it with all of you through sports activities .

Knowledge of our heritage is an essential requirement for its conservation. What is known, used and valued is preserved.

Our services have a marked character of environmental education , of conservation and respect for nature, as well as the dissemination of the history and customs of the resources we visit.

As a sample of our good work , the Ministry of the Environment, a National Parks body, in 2001 awarded us an important grant to take off with guarantees, and the Caja de Castilla la Mancha Social Work, year every year he trusts us to develop his programs of Nature without barriers, Nature with the family and Encounters in nature for the elderly.

Turbycis Canoas offers you this fun activity for the whole family. The activity begins with a short course on how to handle the boats that we have.

Our boats are of two types:

• Self-emptying
• Canadian canoe

Both modes are for two occupants . If young children come, they can go canoeing with their parents. Children under 8 years of age can do the activity for free.

We usually do the tours in the San Pedra lagoon or in the Colgada lagoon , which are the most spectacular. They can also be done in any other lagoon, as long as it is allowed by the management of the natural park. If you have a particular proposal, you can discuss it with us so that we can study the feasibility.

The crossing is easy , without rapids, and in it we will approach, accompanied by our monitors, the most beautiful corners of this unique place.

Turbycis offers you fantastic hiking programs in the Ruidera Lagoons , making use of the following resources in our region:

• Ethnobotanical Reception Center. Ruidera town. 1 hour
• Sinking. Ruidera town ½ hour.
• Aromatic plant distilleries. Ossa de Montiel. 1 ½ hours

And the following hiking routes :

• Laguna San Pedra from the hermitage. Linear. 4km
• Lagunas Batana, Santos Morcillo, Salvadora and Lengua. Linear. 1 km
• Camino del abuchao, San Pedra and Redondilla lagoons. Linear. 3km
• From Ruidera to Laguna Colgada Lineal. 6km.
• Circular route of Tomilla and Conceja lagoons. 7km
• Laguna Blanca route to bath Las Mulas. Linear.9km

There are many possibilities considering that there are more than 30 km for each edge of the lagoons . You can also make small journeys in its most spectacular areas and moving with vehicles and buses between them.

With these resources and routes we try to customize each day according to your needs, the group, the time you have, etc.

At Turbycis we intend to publicize the environmental value that resides in the areas of the Lagunas de Ruidera, in Ciudad Real, as well as in the Tablas de Daimiel. For this reason, we have chosen kayak trips as a way to get to know these environments that does not leave a mark in these places, giving priority to their conservation and that of the species that compose them.

With the own resources of these areas we transmit the characteristics and customs of each place. With the routes in these light and easy-to-use boats, we know in detail points that cannot be reached on foot. They are excursions for which:

- We use multi-seater kayaks so that they can be used by several people at the same time. You can always decide to go paddling alone on the expedition if you prefer.

- Before the start, our team will provide you with the material to be used, consisting of a vest with which you would float in case of falling into the water and a paddle. As a tip, we advise you that you will need clothes that do not bother you when you move or are uncomfortable when sitting in the kayak. The sports type are the best.

- different times of the day will be chosen: depending on the sunlight, if we go out in the morning or at sunset, the shore will offer us a different image.
