Zonaktiva is an active tourism center, born with the great illusion of being able to bring the world a little closer, a great variety of activities, among which are:

• Kayaks : it is our specialty and we leave daily from La Fabriquilla and Las Negras in response to wind conditions. We wear snorkel masks so you can take a bath watching the seabed at the foot of the Almeria cliffs.
• Canyoning : taking you to the Paterna ravine and approaching Granada to descend the Río Verde .
• Trekking : especially when the weather is not suitable for swimming, we will walk along the coast to show you points like the Cala San Pedro or San José .
• Climbing and rappelling : what we do in the Sierra de Alhamilla and in the Salto del Gallo .
• Boat trips with time also for swimming.

Zonaktiva kayak presents an activity whose practice is very simple. It is suitable for all audiences and simply what we need is that you know how to swim.

In Almería there are many places suitable for exploration by kayaking. You can tour the sea of ​​Almeria, discovering its coves and caves. We also renew the material all year round, so be calm that you will be in the best hands.

There is a place of special beauty, the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata , which can be explored by kayak, in an unforgettable day. Without a doubt, it is one of the best places we have in the region and visiting it aboard one of our boats will be much more relaxing. You can disconnect into the best way in nature. Some of our routes:

- Sirenas Reef : we will sail through the area of ​​La Fabriquilla for 3 hours from the beach of the same name at 10 am and at 4.30 pm if you prefer to go out in the afternoon shift.

- Kayak route to Cueva de las Palomas : a rowing trip through Las Negras without any difficulty and of the same duration passing through little points the Cala de San Pedro or Cerro Negro.

Zonaktiva Barranquismo is a fantastic activity, through which you will enjoy nature like never before.

We will cross a section of a river, in which we will find different obstacles, which we will have to overcome, either jumping, climbing, rappelling, or letting ourselves be carried along water slides. Decide which ravine you want to try first:

- The ravine of Río Verde : it is in the Sierra de la Almijara , which belongs to Granada and allows us a descent of 3 hours and a half starting from Otívar that we will do from 10 am in the morning. It has a medium difficulty, although it depends on the flow, and can be entered with young people from 13 years .

- The Paterna river ravine : of the same duration and difficulty although our meeting point will change to the locality of Laujar de Andarax . It has an exciting 15 meter rappel and narrow walls that we will pass with the help of ropes.

Next to you, there will be one of our excellent monitors, telling you at all times what you should do, so you do not have to worry if you have no experience, since he will teach you everything.

Zonaktiva Trekking is a fantastic place to know a whole series of routes, so you can make the best excursions.

We propose a whole range of possible destinations, both for Cabo de Gata, as for the desert or La Alpujarra.

Tours of all kinds await you, designed so that all people can enjoy this activity, taking into account their level of experience. Therefore, there will be more and less hard routes, with different distances, so that we always find a perfect one for you such as:

- The route through Cabo de Gata and San José : it is a route that takes as its starting point the White Candle and we are heading to San José until we complete 18 kilometers that have no difficulty.

- Excursion around the Cala San Pedro : we start walking in Las Negras dedicating something more than 1 hour to the outbound and 2 and a half hours if we make the complete route of 10 kilometers with the return. The most delicate point is the final part through which you reach the cove but the rest of the time we will walk comfortably.

Zonaktiva Escalada is a different way to get to know the mountain. Climbing is an activity that requires the effort of the whole body, and also of the mind.

It is considered climbing, any ascent that is done using the lower and upper extremities. One of our priority objectives is that you learn all the safety techniques, to be able to practice the activity without any risk. The best way to get started in any activity is to know how to do it safely! We have several areas to do it:

- Climbing in the Sierra de Alhamilla : it is an ideal location for a climbing baptism in Laujar de Andarax. We will schedule a session of 3 and a half hours in the morning, starting at 10 am, because that is when the temperature is most pleasant for it.

- Climbing in Salto del Gallo : we will be in the Sierra de Gádor for an activity planned to spend the whole day. That is why we include a snack and a soda to make a stop at noon. We need to arrange a date to have a group of at least 4 people and we will not exceed 8 participants to attend you well.

Still don't know Zonaktiva Rappel ? It's a great way to get started on the descent of walls with rope!

In Zonaktiva Rappel we have a fantastic team of monitors, who will do everything possible to make you have a fun day of adventure.

As if that were not enough, Almeria provides us with a fantastic backdrop to enjoy this activity. In addition, you have the possibility of combining this activity with other of the many that we develop in Zonaktiva. You just have to consult us! It is a modality that you will find in:

- The Carcauz ravine ferrata: in this road of the Sierra de Gador you will have the opportunity to face an impressive rappel from a height of 70 meters .

- The Paterna ravine: here the rappel is the way that will help us to enter the ravine. It has 15 meters for a cut in the rock wall that will help us to slowly descend to the river bed and begin the descent.

You will also rap in our climbing sessions as a technique to get down after reaching the top of each section.

In Zonaktiva Paseos en Barco, we carry out excursions where we sail throughout the incredible coast of Cabo de Gata in July and August. 

We drive you, in a trip of approximately 1 hour of duration, up to the laces that rarely are accessible through vias that allow you to access virgin coves. We will visit semi-submerged caves in which, if you'll like, we will stop to go swimming and discover closely its secrets. You will enjoy just like a child in this refreshing activity. 

The excursions depart from different points, depending on the wind currents direction, Las Negras, and La Isleta del Moro:

Boat trip with snorkeling: is a 90-minute excursion, departing, almost all the time, from the Isleta del Moro although, depending on the conditions, can be substituted with Las Negras. We will sail next to the cliffs and stop in a safe spot so you can go swimming. 

Boat trip to the Marine Reserve of La Polacra: That will take us to the Toros Coves, where we will see the sand's obscure color, that comes from the old volcanoes that formed this coasts. 

The boat that we will use is a type of a semirigid transportation, similar to those used for rescue and salvation.

This ferrata does not present a very high difficulty, it is considered k4 level which indicates that it does have all the excitement expected of it. It begins at an altitude of about 390 meters and ends at about 460m, with a difference in altitude of approximately 65m. In addition, we will find a suspension bridge that you will love to cross and a rappel of 70 meters.
