Zonaktiva is an active tourism center, born with the great illusion of being able to bring the world a little closer, a great variety of activities, among which are:

• Kayaks : it is our specialty and we depart daily from La Fabriquilla and Las Negras depending on the wind conditions. We carry snorkel masks so you can take a bath watching the seabed at the foot of the Almeria cliffs.
• Canyoning : taking you to the Paterna ravine and approaching Granada to descend the Río Verde .
• Hiking : especially when the weather is not suitable for swimming, we will walk along the coast to show you places such as Cala San Pedro or San José .
• Climbing and rappelling : what we do in the Sierra de Alhamilla and in the Salto del Gallo .
• Boat excursions with time also for bathing.

Zonaktiva kayak presents an activity whose practice is very simple. It is suitable for all audiences and we simply need you to be able to swim.

In Almería there are many places suitable for exploration through kayak navigation. You can explore the sea of Almería, discovering its coves and caves. We also renew the material all year round, so rest assured that you will be in the best hands.

There is a place of special beauty, the Cabo de Gata Natural Park , which can be explored by kayak, in an unforgettable day. Without a doubt, it is one of the best corners that we have in the region and visiting it on board one of our boats will be much more relaxing. You can disconnect by getting into nature in the best way. Some of our routes:

- Arrecife de las Sirenas : we will sail through the area of La Fabriquilla for 3 hours from the beach of the same name at 10 am and at 4.30 pm if you prefer to leave in the afternoon.

- Kayak route to the Cueva de las Palomas : a rowing ride through Las Negras without any difficulty and of the same duration passing through little points of the Cala de San Pedro or Cerro Negro.

Zonaktiva Canyoning is a fantastic activity, through which you will enjoy nature like never before.

We will cross a section of a river, in which we will find different obstacles, which we will have to overcome, either by jumping, climbing, abseiling, or being carried away by water slides. Decide which ravine you want to try first:

- The Río Verde ravine : it is in the Sierra de la Almijara , which belongs to Granada and allows us a descent of 3 and a half hours starting from Otívar that we will do from 10 a.m. It has a medium difficulty, although it depends on the flow rate, and can be entered with young people from 13 years .

- The Paterna river ravine : of the same duration and difficulty, although our meeting point will change to the town of Laujar de Andarax . It has an exciting rappel of 15 meters and narrow walls that we will pass with the help of ropes.

Next to you, there will be one of our excellent monitors, telling you at all times what you should do, so you do not have to worry if you do not have experience, since he will teach you everything.

Zonaktiva Hiking is a fantastic place to discover a whole series of routes, so that you can make the best excursions.

We propose a whole range of possible destinations, both in Cabo de Gata, as well as in the desert or La Alpujarra.

Tours of all kinds await you, designed so that all people can enjoy this activity, taking into account their level of experience. Therefore, there will be more and less difficult routes, with different distances, so that we always find the perfect one for you, such as:

- The route through Cabo de Gata and San José : it is a route that takes the Vela Blanca as a starting point and we go towards San José until we complete 18 kilometers that have no difficulty.

- Excursion through Cala San Pedro : we started walking in Las Negras dedicating a little more than 1 hour to the outward journey and 2 and a half hours if we do the complete 10-kilometer route with the return. The most delicate point is the final part by which you reach the cove but the rest of the time we will walk comfortably.

Zonaktiva Escalada is a different way of knowing the mountain. Climbing is an activity that requires the effort of the whole body, and also of the mind.

Climbing is considered any ascent that is done using the lower and upper extremities. One of our priority objectives is that you learn all the safety techniques, to be able to practice the activity without any risk. The best way to get started in any activity is to know how to do it safely! We have several areas to do it:

- Climbing in the Sierra de Alhamilla : it is an ideal location for a climbing baptism in Laujar de Andarax. We will schedule a session of 3 and a half hours in the morning, starting at 10 a.m., because that is when the temperature is most comfortable for it.

- Climbing in Salto del Gallo : we will be in the Sierra de Gádor for an activity planned to spend the whole day. For this reason we include a sandwich and a soft drink to make a stop at noon. We need to arrange a date to have a group of at least 4 people and we will not exceed 8 participants to attend to you well.

You still don't know Zonaktiva Rappel ? It's a great way to get started with rope descent!

At Zonaktiva Rappel we have a fantastic team of instructors, who will do everything possible for you to have a fun day of adventure.

As if that were not enough, Almería provides us with a fantastic backdrop to enjoy this activity. In addition, you have the possibility of combining this activity with others of the many that we develop in Zonaktiva. You just have to ask us! It is a modality that you will find in:

- The ferrata of the Carcauz ravine: in this route of the Sierra de Gador you will have the opportunity to face an impressive rappel from a height of 70 meters .

- The Paterna ravine: here abseiling is the way that will help us enter the ravine. It is 15 meters for a cut in the rock wall that will help us to slowly descend to the river bed and begin the descent.

You will also rappel in our climbing sessions as a technique to go down after reaching the top of each section.

In Zonaktiva Boat Tours we carry out excursions in which we sail along the incredible coastline of Cabo de Gata in July and August .

We drive you, on a journey lasting approximately 1 hour , to landscapes rarely accessible by roads that will allow you to enter virgin coves. We will visit semi-submerged caves in which if you wish, we will stop to bathe and discover more closely its natural secrets. You will enjoy this refreshing activity like a child.

The excursions depart from various points depending on the wind direction, Las Negras, and La Isleta del Moro :

- Boat route with snorkel : it is a 90-minute excursion, almost always departing from the Isleta del Moro although, depending on the conditions, it can be substituted by Las Negras. We will follow the cliffs and stop at a safe point so you can jump into the water.

- Departure by boat to the La Polacra Marine Reserve : which will take us to Cala de los Toros where we will see the dark color of its sand that originated in the ancient volcanoes that formed these coasts.

The boat we use is a type of semi-rigid transport, similar to those used for rescue and rescue.

This ferrata does not present a very high difficulty, it is considered level k4 which indicates that it does have all the emotion that is expected of it. It begins at an altitude of about 390 meters and ends at about 460m, with a drop of approximately 65m. In addition, we will find a suspension bridge that you will love to cross and a rappel of 70 meters.

Belonging to the Almeria town of Vícar , in the Sierra de Gador , this via ferrata is perfect to let yourself be carried away by adrenaline and nature. Our team of technicians will accompany you at all times, advising you on each movement and making sure the entire journey runs smoothly.
