From Club Marítimo Canido we have the mission of fostering the passion for dinghy sailing in the surroundings of Vigo . That is why our headquarters are located at Muelle de Canido . We have been setting this goal for ourselves since 1999, the year in which we started our Dinghy Sailing School .
It is a nautical activity that can be enjoyed both in its playful aspect and in its professional sport aspect, to promote such important principles as companionship, safety regulations to continue at sea and respect for the marine environment.
And for this reason, we present our variety of courses for future sailors through the Atlantic waters that we do not only in the summer months but at any time of the year, as long as we have the enough number of students to form a group. Age will not be an impediment:
We have focused on the practical part, for which you will have to wear the life jacket during the maritime days. You will also receive theoretical instructions on the handling of sailboats, the necessary equipment and the history and origin of this practice. In short, you will receive all the necessary training to aspire to participate in the regattas that we also prepare at Club Náutico Canido.
In our facilities you can also enjoy our restaurant and its terrace facing the Cíes Islands, as well as changing rooms with showers. And what you are going to like the most, our space destined to leave boats moored that has a ramp that will take you directly to the water.
