Real Club Marítimo del Abra

The Sailing School of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra is named after the Basque solo sailor par excellence: José Luis de Ugarte Sailing School.

The large number of children who pass through it each year dream of one day emulating its successes. But this requires a lot of preparation and knowledge of this exciting sport.

We are dedicated to spreading the word throughout the province, in response to the link between the people of Vizcaya and the sea. And to reach the greatest number of fans. We have agreements with different organizations and institutions always with the aim of bringing sailing closer to all those who are interested in practicing it.

Real Club Marítimo del Abra has, in its facilities in Getxo, its own fleet that includes: Raqueros, Optimist, Vaurien, Snipe, 420, Laser, Laser Radial, and Cruise. These boats allow, from the age of eight, initiation and improvement in this sport.
