Sotavento Escuela Náutica

Sotavento is a nautical school whose main activity is the teaching and preparation of its students so that they can obtain the different recreational nautical titles through online and in-person courses. We are located in the province of Vizcaya with offices in Getxo and Zamudio, the weather conditions are perfect for the development of activities.

We have the necessary approvals, achieving an average of 95% passes in the exams of the different qualifications. If you did not pass, we would allow you to attend the next course and we would help you until you succeeded.

In the summer season we have developed a new intensive course on “skipper of pleasure boats on board” where in 6 days boarding a sailboat, the student not only obtains the practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to obtain the title but would experience firsthand person what navigation and the life of a sailor mean.

The courses we teach are:

• Yacht Captain
• Yacht Skipper
• Pleasure Boat Skipper
• Basic Navigation Pattern.
• Title or Federal Authorization.
