Escuela Tandem

Tandem School is a ski and snowboard school located in La Pinilla and is characterized because, in addition to classes and courses for these two snow sports, it also offers adapted skiing activities for people with disabilities. Some of these activities and modalities are:

- Mono-ski: modality designed for skiing in a sitting position for people who have sufficient trunk strength and mobility, which is what is used to maneuver mainly.

- Bi-Ski: this modality is best suited for people who have spina bifida, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries above D-4, etc. You also ski sitting.

- 3 Footprints: this version is for people who only cannot use one of their legs for whatever reason. It is practiced with a normal ski and two stabilizers or support points. The stabilos are poles with small skis at the ends that serve to have more stability and maneuverability.

- 4 Tracks: this modality is very similar to the previous one, but the skier uses two normal skis instead of just one.

In addition to adapted skiing, the Tandem School also has courses and classes in alpine skiing and snowboarding, as well as a material rental service for any of the three modalities mentioned above.
