At Asier Perez Mountain and Canyon Guide we are certain that to see life in a more positive way, it is necessary to come into contact with nature. That is, with our wildest Self. This has made us dedicate our lives to preparing activities that are related to climbing, mountaineering and canyoning. One of the factors that have made this possible is the environment in which we carry out our outings, in the mountains of the Basque Country. We invite you to come try some of these experiences with us.

The canyoning trips will be in canyons located near Vitoria or Bilbao. And, as we know that everyone has a different pace, we have planned different routes so that everyone can participate. Our most common outings, with an approximate duration of 5 hours, are carried out in the following areas:Cueva de La Leze, Barranco de Artazulo, Barranco de Sintxita and Barranco de Aguake.

Another of the star sports we have is climbing. With (qualified) mountain guides you will enter the mountainous areas of Northern Spain to choose the summit that you are most interested in climbing. For our part, we will give you all the material you need for the ascension and, of course, different possibilities so that you can choose the one that best suits your profile. We have:

• Mountaineering initiation course. In this course you will receive the necessary instructions to carry out mountain activities in the winter season.
• Winter mountaineering. For people with some training, or for beginners, in snowy mountains. We will teach you the best peaks in the north.
• Rock climbing. Equipped with the material you need for an activity of this type, an instructor will choose the route and teach you how to overcome the chosen wall. The course will be adapted to the student's level.
• Edges. For somewhat more daring adventurers. In this case, progressions will be made along rocky edges. And, of course, we will provide students with the appropriate safety equipment.
• Guided mountain ascents. If you like to be surprised with routes you don't know and let yourself go, this activity is yours. A guide will take you along the best trails in the northern mountains.
• Naranjo de Bulnes Climbing. It is known among climbers as Picu Urriellu. It is a spectacular peak that attracts the most enthusiastic of this sport every year.

The best hiking routes and other adventure activities in the mountainous areas of Northern Spain. We have a guide specialized in High Mountains and ravines in the areas of the Basque Country, Cantabria, Pyrenees and Picos de Europa. The mountain ranges and massifs of the north offer ample possibilities for lovers of adventure sports and it is best to do it with experts. The activities available are, among others:

Climbing and Mountaineering

Mountaineering Initiation Course: course in which you will learn the necessary techniques to carry out any winter mountain activity in a safe and autonomous way.

Winter mountaineering:in the best peaks in the north, test yourself with this high mountain sport, with the safety cushion of our guide, who will help you and guide you, knowledgeable about the area. Adapt to your level, from initiation to activity with experts.

Rock climbing:All the necessary equipment will be available to carry out this type of climbing. The routes will be chosen by the monitor, prioritizing unique places adapted to the difficulties that, depending on the level of knowledge, the user is able to overcome.

Edges: Progression along rocky ridges. Of course with the necessary safety equipment and without false steps to avoid undesirable accidents.

Naranjo de Bulnes Climb: also known as Picu Urriellu. Amazing peak ideal for climbing enthusiasts.

Canyoning, that activity that can put your emotions to the limit and, at the same time, have fun at the highest level with your companions. Come to the Basque Country and let a guide from Asier Perez Mountain and Canyon Guide take you to practice this complete sport. You will have everything: water jumps, water slides and rappels of different heights. Are you thinking about it?

In order to offer the greatest number of routes, so that no person is left out, we have established different itineraries that are distributed around Vitoria and Bilbao. Its numerous mountain areas give the possibility of practicing this sport through different ravines among which we highlight:

• La Leze Cave. This ravine will take us inside a cave where we will have to descend practicing different rappels, to a height of more than 60 meters. Also, you will have fun with its small waterfalls and natural slides.
• Artazulo Ravine. Because it is a very complete ravine, for many, it is one of the best ravines in the Basque Country. In this case, it will be necessary to have experience in climbing and rappelling. It takes place in spring.
• Sintxita Ravine. A few kilometers from Bilbao, we find this route that is made up of several rappels. For those of you who like to go through places that seem impossible, in this itinerary you will have to overcome narrow and canyoned areas.
• Aguake Ravine. Ideal to come with the little ones in the house. It is a simple route where there will be no more complication than having a good time.

The total departures take around 5 or 6 hours.
