The visit consists of two parts; First of all, we will visit the Nautilus Interpretation Center and then we will enjoy a boat ride to discover the Mutriku black flysch, the oldest in the Basque Coast Geopark. The visit has a complete duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes.

• Another option is that you come to visit Nautilus on foot, a place where we will find a beautiful collection of ammonite fossils. Then we will board the boat to sail to Saturraran on a route that will make us discover the history of the origin of these fossils.

• Finally, we propose a geological outing in which we will have the opportunity to learn about the immense geological value of Zumaia and then contemplate its most historic and beautiful formations from the sea.

So, for example, we can combine a hiking trip with a boat ride. The beginning of the tour will be on foot and we will visit the Nautilus Center, located in Mutriku, and its fossils. Then we will embark to head to Deba where we can contemplate the most impressive cliffs and their magnificent strata.

Another possibility is that you come towalk with us through Mendata to Sakoneta. We will travel by bus to the departure point and, once there, get on our feet and begin exploring the area. Among many other things we will have the opportunity to discover Mendatagaina, a watchtower that will offer us a unique view of the coastal cliffs and from which we will also be able to contemplate the tidal level.
