Situral

The Hoces del Duratón are best enjoyed from the water and it is the canoes that allow us a closer approach to this place. That's why in Situral we go to the Burgomillodo reservoir to paddle along a stretch of 8 kilometers on average in an activity ideal for anyone who knows how to swim.

We will meet the group near Sebúlcor taking advantage of the comfort of our facilities. There we will know who our guide is who will monitor groups that we keep below 16 people to be able to keep track of everyone correctly. We will travel in double canoes of great stability with which:

- We will depart from the pier to which we will have arrived in our vehicles after having collected the safety vest and the shovel. During this time we are provided with the theory that we must know to remain safe.

- We will take a tour with several moments of rest also designed to explain what the environment we are passing through is like and what its qualities and characteristics are. This will take us around 3 hours and it is possible to ask the guide about what we are seeing even if we have started the walk.

With Situral Aventura we make a nautical sport suitable for all audiences while we delve into the Hoces del Duratón from a perspective that only one of these itineraries can provide us with.

For this activity we will have the assistance of qualified instructors who are part of the company's team. The material provided to participants is made up of vests, which will keep you safe, paddles to be able to move along the river, and a first aid kit so that we have it nearby in case we need it. The monitor will take this on his boat.

We only ask that the person who joins us on this adventure knows nothing. Except for the need to take this main requirement into account, there are no minimum ages to board these boats. In the same way, knowledge is not necessary either, since everything you need to know will be seen just before starting the expedition.

Bring with you a hat and sun protection as we will be constantly exposed while sailing. You will all have to carry some water and clothes to change into in case you get wet.

At Situral, kayaks help us get to know the Burgomillodo reservoir in more detail. This space is included within the limits of the Hoces del Duratón Natural Park and we will find it from the dam to the bridge that passes at the height of Villaseca.

The activity begins in the vicinity of Sebúlcor where we will meet as it is the headquarters of our facilities. From here:

- We will get to know each other and assign a monitor who will act as the group's accompanying guide throughout the adventure. We will go to the pier behind the vehicle in which the instructor is traveling.

- Once at our destination we will distribute the vest and shovel to each of the people who will make up the route. Clarifications will then take place regarding the course of the activity, focusing on key aspects for everyone's safety.

- We will begin a trip of around 3 hours, one more if we have the moments before and after returning to the activities. In these sections of up to 9 kilometers we will paddle calmly with the supervision of the guide.

Playing sports along the Duratón river and being able to enjoy the nature that the area offers, its majestic birds and the Bugomillodo reservoir without leaving Segovia, is priceless. Canoe rides are our strong point and we love it.
