Bodegas Sierra Salinas is located in the foothills of the Sierra de Salinas, on the border between the provinces of Murcia and Alicante, an environment in which the building that houses our wineries was built. The building, designed by architect José María Abellán, was based on two principles: thermal insulation and the use of gravity for the transfer of wines.
The farm consists of 90 hectares in which almond trees, olive trees and vineyards coexist in harmony on the slopes of the Sierra at 650-680 meters above sea level. Today there are 50 hectares of Monastrell vineyards in dry land and 10 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tintorera and Petit Verdot vines, planted in a trellis system and with irrigation installation.
