Bodegas y Viñedos Tavera was created in 2005 as the culmination of a history linked to viticulture for generations by the González López family. The González López family has dedicated itself throughout the 20th century to making wine in traditional wineries with grapes from their own vineyards.
In the course of 2005, the new winery was created in order to produce, breed, bottle and market wine (and also extra virgin olive oil) of its own production of the highest quality in the field of wines from the Tierra de Castilla and side. Méntrida.
We have a tasting room and a direct sales store in our facilities. Also enjoy the tour of the facilities, where the magic and wisdom in making wine can be felt in every corner. For the little ones we have created "The Story of Mr. Don Vino", a visit specially prepared for children to learn, while having fun, how to work in a winery and understand the culture of wine.
