At Castell dels Sorells we are proud to be the cradle of cava of Valencian origin which first appeared in history, around 1983. It was the fruit of work at the beginning of this decade as a pioneer winery in the Community in the production of this type of wine.
As soon as you arrive at our complex in the town of Turis, you will be surprised by the architecture of our facilities. We have followed the image of the Albalat dels Sorrells Castle, a construction from the 15th century. This is where today all the processes related to the grapes and their subsequent bottling take place.
Today, we are part of the Bodegas Valdelomar group, a circumstance that we have taken advantage of to join the most recent technology in the sector. In this way we have maintained the characteristics that make our products continue to adapt to the tables and demands of the consumers who trust us.
Through a visit to Castell de Sorrells you will be witnessing more than three decades of history, from its beginnings that have currently managed to form new teams in all the phases that the cava follows to preserve the town with which they were born.
You can visit the Castle, the winery facilities, the underground cellar with capacity for more than two million bottles of excellent quality cava, which has the privilege of being the first Valencian cava made back in 1981, all surrounded by the exuberance of the gardens where you can hold any type of celebration or wine tourism activity, where you can taste our cavas and participate in activities such as tasting workshops, rice cooking workshops, horseback riding. We can also offer you ourbanquet hall with a capacity for 350 people in a medieval atmosphere.
