Finca Omblancas arises in 2002 with the acquisition of an old farm in the town of Jumilla. With an enormous extension of vineyards, it includes the 1888 Perico Molina winery and the new one, founded in 1978.
The family, with a long love of wine, valued the potential of the area to produce quality wines with character. The goal is to produce wines with elegance and balance, while expressive. The union between tradition and innovation.
The winery hired the services of the French winemaker expert Patrick Rabión. He has also made significant investments to improve his infrastructure. It currently has the most modern technologies, which combined with traditional knowledge result in high quality wines.
The vineyards grow between climatic variations in the area and low rainfall. They produce very resistant strains but with a low yield. However, they live an ideal ripening process, concentrating a lot of their flavor.
The winery works with 4 grape varieties: Syrah, Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
Finca Omblancas has its doors open to visitors who want to learn more about the winery's facilities.
