Poças Vinhos

Welcome to Poças Vinhos, a family business specialized in the production of Douro and Port wines.

Poças was born more than a hundred years ago, in 1918 by Manoel Domingues Poças Júnior, which is why it is recognized as the most Portuguese expression in the region. His passion has been passed down from generation to generation until today.

Today, Poças Vinhos has managed to reach the 4th generation of the family. On the one hand we have the person in charge of the Enology and Viticulture areas Maria Manuel Maia, Paulo Pintão in charge of production and administration and finances and finally Pedro Poças Pintãoin charge of marketing and everything commercial.

We are located inVila Nova de Gaia, right in the historic center. Here is the Visitor Center, inaugurated in 2016 to carry out all our tours and wine tastings.

Poças has three Quintas, each located in different areas of the Douro Demarcated Region with a total of 100 hectares of which 76 are vineyards in production.

Our goal is to offer high quality services, creating unforgettable moments and experiences through our wines. In addition, we support and are committed to caring for the environment, so our vision is to evolve by generating positive changes.
