Vera de Estenas is a Valencian winery that is located in Utiel. They have been making wine for years and for years opening the doors of their winery to visitors and offering them a tasting after the visit.
Since wine comes from grapes, the visit begins in the vineyards, where you will take a walk through the extensive fields that surround the winery. After the walk you will enter the facilities and you will be able to see how a high-quality wine is made in an artisanal way. After the process carried out with the wine, you will go to the bottling and labeling room. In the bottled wine warehouse, the maximum time that the wine must remain inside the bottle and how long it remains in the room until it is released to the market is explained. There is a correct way to store wine and they will explain it to you there.
The last part of the visit consists of seeing the museum dedicated to wine and cellars, and then moving on to the old fermentation cellars, which is where they currently store all the bottles. To finish, they will carry out a tasting for you led by an expert who will explain information about three of the wines produced in the winery.
Visits take place from Monday to Saturday and last an hour and a half.
