Vera de Estenas is a winery Valenciana that is located in Utiel . They have been making wine for years and years opening the doors of their winery to visitors and offering them a tasting after the visit.
As the wine comes from the grape, the visit begins in the vineyards, where you will take a walk through the extensive fields that surround the winery. After the walk you will enter the facilities and you will be able to see how a high quality wine is made in an artisanal way. After the process that is carried out with the wine, you will go to the bottling and labeling room. In the bottled wine store, the maximum time that the wine must remain in the bottle and how long it remains in the room until it is released on the market is explained. There is a correct way to store wine and they will explain it to you there.
The last part of the visit is to see the museum they have dedicated to wine and wineries, and then go to the old fermentation trulli, which is where they currently store all the bottles. Finally, they will carry out a tasting for you led by an expert who will explain information about three of the wines that are produced in the winery.
The visits are made from Monday to Saturday and last an hour and a half.
