CEDI

The CEDI (Winter Sports Study Center) is located at the top of the Sierra Nevada station next to the High Performance Center (CAR). It has various classrooms equipped for the two most important specialties, alpine skiing and snowboarding so that you can train as a mountain instructor.

Normally the practical classes are generally recorded on video and later viewed in the audiovisual classrooms to comment on failures and advance much faster.

The CEDI has all the competition material, safety equipment for rescue and first aid and teaching material for snow practices.

The GREIM, Mountain Rescue Group of the Civil Guard, collaborates with the CEDI, preparing its students in mountain rescues and avalanches.

Their training courses are TD 1, TD 2 level and a higher course for professionals.

More and more people are preparing and starting out in the world of snowboarding with the CEDI. In the complementary block of the second level, an adapted ski course is carried out to prepare technicians to teach disabled people.

The Winter Sports Study Center (CEDI), located in the Sierra Nevada facilities in Granada, is a place where you can turn your aspirations into realities. You will be able to train in various forms of snow and winter sports and be a qualified teacher to teach classes wherever you want.

Specifically for winter we havetraining courses in alpine skiing and snowboarding. Its teaching is divided into three levels. To enter the first level you must pass an entrance test.

There will be both theoretical and practical knowledge touching on all aspects related to safety in carrying out the activities, the material to be used, general aspects of the sport and others more specific to skiing and snowboarding.

CEDI is a center specialized in teaching winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding. Located at the top of the Sierra Nevada station and next to the CAR (High Performance Center), the CEDI center has extensive facilities, classrooms for theoretical classes, audiovisual and teacher rooms and everything necessary for teaching the winter sports teaching course.

First we must pass an access test to check our level, and to know if we are prepared and have the minimum knowledge and experience desired and required to be a teacher. Once passed, we will be able to choose between the three existing courses TD1, TD2 and/or Higher Degree. All of them prepared and divided into blocks to improve their understanding and application.

After the practical classes we will go to the audiovisual room to watch the practice, observe errors and optimize learning.

The classes are taught by qualified and highly prestigious teachers, trained to teach future teachers, and if that were not enough the GREIM, Mountain Rescue Group of the Civil Guard participates with CEDI Snowboard, in the preparation of students in mountain rescues and avalanches.
