Centre Horus

You don't have to go far to see an environment where native and exotic fauna coexist in complete harmony. In Pratdip, a municipality in the Bajo Campo region, you will find Center Horus, a natural space with all types of animal species with which you can mingle and have contact.

Our reason for being is none other than to bring the little ones into contact with the purest nature and its inhabitants, emphasizing education and respect for animals. We will continue to welcome all those animals that need it to maintain a stable ecosystem and fauna in the region.

Among the most peculiar species that we welcome and maintain in our center, you will find:

• Mediterranean Turtle: Very important species in the peninsula. We encourage their protection and wild maintenance given the destruction of their habitat and interest as a companion animal. There are already 25 Mediterranean tortoises that we have seen born in our natural center and we continue to grow.

• Arthropods: More than a million species, in addition to those not known, make up the most diverse group of animals in the world. We promote their knowledge and characteristics, to get closer to this type of very little-known animals. We have both native and exotic species.
