Palmetum Santa Cruz de Tenerife we are a Botanical Garden that emerged from a unique project: we transformed an old garbage dump into a place of leisure and vegetation.

Our 12-hectare Botanical Garden has a collection of 3,000 species of plants from tropical and subtropical climates around the world.

Within this impressive botanical collection, palm trees are the most represented, especially those from island territories.

In this idyllic plant landscape grow the best collection of palm trees in Europe and the largest botanical collection of palm trees from tropical islands in the world.

Our location and the climate it offers us allow us to cultivate a diversity of species and offer all visitors a variety of magnificent landscapes with waterfalls, streams and views of both the city and the sea. br />
Our garden offers biogeographic sections with very different species including rare species such as Ficus or Plumeria.
