Vigozoo is a Zoological Park integrated in its environment, which maintains a careful diversity of trees and plants. It has an extension of 55,676 m2 expandable in which a wide variety of activities aimed at teaching, dissemination, research, tourism, leisure, research and conservation of species are developed.

The animal enclosures are within a process of integral naturalization, and have varied vegetation and physical elements necessary in order to recreate the natural habitat of each species and provide the environmental enrichment necessary for their well-being.

It welcomes thousands of people throughout the year, between organized visits and the general public and this implies a continuous effort to improve facilities and services so that both animals and visitors are at ease. To this end, access roads, closures have been improved and new facilities are being created with the aim of becoming a reference zoo for the fauna of the peninsular northwest.
