In Dénia the giant bubbles have appeared thanks to Bubble Football Marina Alta, the company that has introduced this activity on the Alicante coast to offer a fun alternative to beach tourism for everyone.
Soccer lovers as we are, we will have an even better time inside giant transparent plastic balls. These elements cover us approximately up to the knee so we can run, dribble and try to shoot at goal. It all seems very easy, like in any game, but it is far from being like that. The bubbles will make us look clumsy but they give us other advantages: we can collide and bounce off each other without hurting ourselves. On that grass, the regulation ball will not be the only thing that rolls.
- Where can you play bubble football?: from 8 people, we transport all the equipment so that you can play the match on outdoor fields in the cities on our coast, such as Dénia, Gandía, or if you prefer Ondara, Jávea, even the town of Oliva. As for the maximum number of players, you can be as many as you want.
- What is a game like?: the instructor is the one in charge of telling us how we have to act when we are inside the bubble. They are organized in blocks of 10 participants, each one inside their ball. In addition to focusing on the most classic sport, we can try variants of the game. We will leave you knee pads and identification breastplates. You will be covered by the activity's insurance and we will bring drinks so that you stay hydrated.
