Pyrineum

At Pyrineum we develop our aerial activities in an enclave where the Navarrese Pyrenees connects with the Community of Aragon. From here the proposals we offer are wrapped in natural settings that increase the interest of professionals and visitors. In addition, you will arrive in a very short time from Pamplona and you will access easily from Jaca.

The Lumbier aerodrome houses facilities equipped with a 570-meter runway and almost a dozen hangars for proper aircraft maintenance. While you stay here you can make use of the social club, catering and even the swimming pool. It is the perfect option for your companions to wait for you while:

- You try what it is like to be a pilot for a day: stop looking out the side window and take action by placing yourself at the controls of our Tecnam while the instructor shows you how to do it. After the theoretical preparation, we will give you a choice between 4 routes around the surroundings. You will be soaring through the sky with a route of half an hour or 60 minutes if you prefer double the time.

- You go through the simulator: visit the Interpretation Center and reserve a space to fly without the need for preparation thanks to the simulator. You will have replicas of the real controls and control panel, even movement! You will go through the same maneuvers as a professional pilot, taking off, keeping the course and returning to the runway.

In Pyrineum you can instantly lead a plane through the pilot experiences for a day that we develop in our International Flight Center.

You will take to the skies with the Pyrenees as a backdrop from the Lumbier aerodrome . Here we have prepared a global activity for you in which all flight procedures are contemplated and that makes you participate in them.

As a introductory course we will see how the adventure is prepared, the operation of the aircraft's navigation systems, how the geographical references of the environment are taken and what are the maneuvers that we will need until we return to hint.

We have Tecnam two-seater autogyros and ultralights, this being the one that allows us to board up to 4 routes of 30 minutes or a full hour:

- Half an hour : we will go north flying over the Itoiz reservoir, Roncesvalles and the Pamplona Basin. If we decide to head south, we will see Sangüesa and the Monastery of Leyre before returning to the base.

- Of 60 minutes : during the first 30 minutes we will follow the previous routes but it will allow us time to reach such popular points of the environment as Mallos de Riglos.

Pyrineum is the International Flight Center from which we operate based on the Lumbier airfield. This town, which belongs to Navarra, is very close to Pamplona from which it is only separated by 40 km. Our position from this point and Jaca offers you an environment characterized by the imposing Pyrenean peaks.

We have extended our professional services so that the general public can also enjoy them, which has resulted in a range of options made up of:

- Pilot experiences for a day : sign up for an initial lesson in a Tecnam P92 two-seater aircraft that you will share with the instructor. You will know what are the main maneuvers and preparations of an air route before going on to make one of the 4 routes that we have established from Lumbier. These will allow you to see places like Roncesvalles, Javier Castle or the swamps that are concentrated in the area.
We will be in the air between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the itinerary you have chosen.

- Air simulator : the latest technology is at your fingertips so that you can feel the most faithful flights to reality without taking your feet off the ground. In addition to reproducing the controls, it sits on a platform that reproduces the movements of an aircraft. It can be requested for training purposes or just for fun.

- Pilot School : Earn your own qualification as a microlight pilot with theoretical and practical instruction. The monitoring of the classes can be done virtually with a tutor until you want to take the step and take the exam.
