Description of Meigarco

Meigarco is an archery club with the necessary licenses to practice this sport.

In our ranks we have high-level athletes with a Spanish Champion and two Runners-up, in addition to quite a few 3rd place finishers from Spain, and we have the necessary national and regional monitors for everyone to practice this great sport.

The objectives of our club are the following:

  • Spread the practice of archery, in a systematic and organized way.
  • Accompany and assist initiates in basic courses in practice, providing all the elements for practice (shooting equipment).
  • Guide and develop the natural aptitudes of each archer helping him in choosing his shooting style, either as a hobby or, at the competitive level, in any of his levels and scenarios.

Archery is a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime, with almost no limitations of physical condition, condition or age, so it can be practiced by people with significant motor disabilities and even in a wheelchair.

However, it is also a sport that in Olympic competition involves extreme dexterity and a unique mix of muscle control, intuition, refined technique and instinct.

Our Shooting classes cover all types of bows (longbow, even the most sophisticated compound bows and Olympic recurved bows) and the different shooting techniques.

Don't hesitate and contact Meigarco to learn how to practice archery or improve your technique.
