At Abanto Turismo we offer you a series of activities by land, sea and air less than 15 minutes from the capital of Bilbao. We take what nature gives us and we show it to you first-hand with proposals that will not leave you indifferent.

We take advantage of the coast of the Cantabrian Sea to do various adventure sports in the water:

• Diving: We prepare your diving baptism and your first dives in the sea.

• Canoes, kayaks and canoeing: We row both by the sea and by the river, the Cantabrian Sea or the Ebro river on routes through calm waters.

• Boat trips: Beautiful days of navigation along the Biscayan coast.

• Surf: The quintessential place to surf is on the Biscayan beaches with always good wind conditions.

• Fishing: Various types of fishing to cast the hook on board a yacht or a pirogue.

We fly with a paramotor using the paratrike, which makes it much easier for us to take off since we are sitting on a cart equipped with wheels.

And routes in a 4x4 SUV through the mountains of the area that is combined with visits to wineries in Txacolí.

A very few kilometers from the center of Bilbao we go out for diving along the Biscayan coast where we find numerous areas to dive and get to know first-hand the underwater ecosystem as well as its landscapes so peculiar.

Our dive baptisms are intended for you to get to know diving for the first time with guided dives, adapting to the diving equipment and the sensations under the sea.

We organize two types of outputs :

• Along the coast of the Cantabrian Sea in Biscay, observing the cliffs, estuaries and beaches of the Basque coast.

• Along the Ebro river between the town of Briñas and Logroño in La Rioja, calm and calm waters that take us peacefully down the river. It can be lowered all year round given the good flow of the Ebro.

You have the opportunity to learn from scratch with us with our introductory courses both at sea and in the river.

Up to 3 people can get on the canoes, making this activity very fun to do with a group of friends or family.

We incorporate the vest, the suit and the helmet that you will need once you get on the boat.

Going through the waters of the Cantabrian Sea or the Ebro River has never been easier than with our kayak itineraries. Get on this light and manageable boat that consists of a double-bladed paddle that will serve as an impulse.

On the other hand we have a route through the Ebro river from Briñas to Logroño, in La Rioja. This river ensures that we can ride all year round since it does not suffer the drop in flow typical of other river courses.

There are training courses to gain experience in kayaking and navigate the waters safer.

Set sail with us on our boat and get ready to navigate the waters of the Cantabrian Sea from the coast of Biscay. You will have coves, beaches, cliffs, capes, and all the force of the sea surrounding you.

Our sailboats and catamarans will transport you from the daily routine to a maritime environment with which you will avoid everything.

Routes from 2 hours to 4 hours for those itineraries that have special events.

We prepare for the routes various events such as Team Building to encourage company teams, original bachelor parties at sea and private parties as you wish.

We adapt the ship to your requirements, adding music, catering, crew and whatever is necessary for your greater comfort and fun.

The Cantabrian Sea is a highly recommended setting to spend a fishing day with friends or family. From a boat in the sea we cast the hook and learn very useful things about this sporting activity closely linked to nature and the environment.

From the Biscayan coast, very close to the Bilbao estuary we set out towards the waters of the Cantabrian Sea aboard:

We will spend a whole day in the middle of the sea looking for and fishing specimens of squid, sea bass, pintos and many more species.

Live a day of canoeing very close to Bilbao both in the estuary and in the open sea. A very calm and relaxing walk through calm waters while doing a little sport with the oars.

We have single and two-seater canoes with which we will advance through the water using a double-bladed paddle. The canoes are very manageable and light.

From an early age you can start surfing, with classes and material that are perfectly suitable for children.

This sport requires a refined technique for its correct mastery, so we place special emphasis on training courses that help to gain skill on the board.

From our school we give you the necessary board and wetsuit and the attention of the monitors in our surf courses and activities.

We have classes of variable duration and a specific technique, it's just a matter of finding the one that best suits your level and experience.

We propose an innovative way to fly in a paramotor , the paratrike . A paramotor equipped with a trolley with wheels with which we ascend directly seated and picking up speed very easily.

In this way we climb to the heights of Vizcaya being able to glimpse the entire extension of the Bilbao estuary, its urban nucleus and periphery as well as the coast of the Cantabrian Sea and the surrounding mountains.

We will float through the air with the help of an expert pilot who will provide us with additional information about the places we will fly over.

It will give us time to see many things on 1-hour flights.

We have a very complete proposal for the Basque mountains of Vizcaya with our 4x4 off-road routes that take us through deep forests, green mountains and culminate with visits to various wineries in the area that make the famous txacolí wine.

We will traverse dirt roads passing through mud and water with speed and power. A very sporty and natural route as we will access hidden areas of the Basque mountain that are difficult to access.

You can be the driver of the vehicle if you have a driving license and you want to put at the controls of these wild vehicles prepared to go ride through.
