Kirik is a cooperative for carrying out activities that has more than 12 years of experience and offers us a large number of sports related to leisure, culture and nature for children and adults. /p>

Its objective is to organize and provide excellent service in the activities that we propose. They are always open to new experiences and proposals that expand their already extensive range and are capable of adapting to new trends.

All activities include qualified monitors, instructors and trainers of high professional and human level. The material used is constantly renewed and always successfully passes periodic safety checks to control and guarantee maximum safety.

Civil Liability and Assistance insurance is always included, which we prefer not to have to use, but which is always available to our clients.

Kirik Canoeing introduces us to the wonderful world of canoeing through its experienced and qualified guides.

No experience or knowledge of the canoe is necessary, the instructor-guides will be the ones who will train us and prepare us for the use of the boat.

We will begin by learning the different components necessary to make the descent, paddles, canoe or kayak, helmet and life jacket. They will teach us how to paddle, turn, stop and control the canoe at all times, even how to leave if we return without any risk to us.

Once we know the basic operation, we will learn to read the river so that we know at all times where to direct the boat to avoid unnecessary obstacles or obstacles that are too difficult to overcome, and we always choose the most appropriate route for our level.

The activity lasts approximately 2 hours and includes:

• Civil Liability and Accident Insurance.
• Experienced monitors with an employment contract with S.Social.
• Support vehicle that will go along the river.
• All the necessary material (canoes, vests, paddles and helmet).

We must bring a swimsuit, dry clothing, food and shoes that can get wet. Transportation is not included either, so we will be the ones who organize ourselves to travel to the place where the activity will take place.

Together with the guides who know the hiking routes that you will take, since they are experts who know the terrain and its natural features, we will enjoy visiting Urduliz on foot and ascending to the peaks of Munarrikolanda (255 meters high) and enjoying the dolmens that are found at its summit, and the summit of Peñas (198 meters).

Likewise, we will enjoy the routes and tracks that lead to the Urkiola Natural Park (located in the Ferrería del Abedul), where we can ascend to the top of the 1,331-meter Anboto, where the mother goddess of Basque mythology Mari, known as like the Lady of Anboto.

Two other possible routes run through Plentizia, located on the edge of the last meander of the Butrón River just before its mouth. And finally the route that leads us to Butrón Castle, of medieval origin and its exuberant park with palm trees and exotic species.

Kirik Hiking includes in all its routes:

Kirik Escalada has several climbing walls to introduce us to the surprising world of climbing and rappelling.

He has more than 12 years of experience organizing outings and activities related to climbing and free ascension.

The monitor-guides will introduce us to the necessary techniques to ascend without forcing ourselves and always adapting to our level. Inside the climbing wall there are different routes with different levels for the different users who face the wall.

Tricks as simple as using magnesium to adhere better to the rock, or using our legs to ascend instead of our arms, will make our ascent something simple and very satisfying.

There is nothing comparable to the views obtained from a summit after a hard climb.

And for those who already have basic notions or want to experience the risk of rock climbing, they will guide us to different routes, always appropriate to our level, where we can directly confront the rock, and overcome the obstacles involved in ascending on our own ( always secured by the instructor using a safety harness and the appropriate ropes and insurance) by the bare rock and inclement weather.

Kirik Speleology takes us into the depths of the earth to show us its darkest and most hidden secrets.

Whether we have knowledge or it is our first foray into the world of expeleology, Kirik Speleology will provide us with everything we need to live an exciting adventure inside a cave.

We will cross narrow passages, cross rivers and underground lakes, rappel to overcome large differences in level and above all we will enjoy the most absolute silence and the deepest darkness that we can imagine.

The experienced guides will lead us through the different caverns that make up the cave, guided by the light of the carburetor and equipped with everything necessary to overcome all the natural obstacles that arise.

Kirik Speleology provides us with all the necessary material (helmet, carburetor, overalls, harnesses, descenders and blockers), the guides will provide us with information on the formation of stalactites and stalagmites, as well as other geological formations. And it will also provide us with Civil Liability insurance and assistance.

We must carry mountain shoes and food, as well as transport ourselves to the place where we will enter the cave.

One of the options is to tour Urduliz with its beautiful climbs. Ride a bicycle through the Urkiola Natural Park and ascend to the top of Anboto, from where you can observe the entire valley or enjoy touring the mouth of the Butrón River, next to Plentzia.

All routes are adaptable to the level of the participants. The guide will be the one who establishes which route is the most advisable according to our interests and physical fitness.

Kirik BTT provides us with bicycles if we do not have one, and will inform us of all the possible routes. The qualified guide will show us and provide us with all the interesting information about all the places we visit, such as the characteristics of the construction of the Butrón castle and its exotic park, or the legend of Mari, the Lady of Anboto who lives at the top of the mountain. , and is the mother Goddess of Basque mythology.

NOTE: Now, KIRIK has opened an office on the Galdames greenway and we have bike rentals and guided tours in the area. You also have more than 40 kilometers of greenway and you can visit old forges, furnaces and mineral loading yards in the Las Encartaciones mining area.
