At Baldaio Surf House surfing is our way of life. Located just 5 minutes from Baldaio beach , in the Coruña town of Carballo , we have a house for surfers who want to learn and enjoy this sport in the Coast of Death . Surely you know that Galicia has perfect waves for water sports, but the best thing about our location is the little overcrowding that there is, so we can practice hours and hours freely.

To learn with surf lessons , we have several professional instructors adapted to all skill levels. Also for all ages, because surfing is a sport that can be learned as a child (much better to be a crack in a short time), but adults can join in learning from scratch.

The classes, as you like. There are individual sessions, in pairs and in small groups, you just have to choose the one that best suits you to dominate the waves.

And beyond classes and courses, in summer we get fully into learning and fun with surf camps from the end of June to the first week of September . Divided by weeks, it includes full board in our surf house next to the beach and intensive classes in the mornings (for adults and children from 8 years old), as well as various activities and games in the afternoons . There is also a day camp option, in case you prefer to only come to classes and activities without sleeping in our accommodation.

Baldaio Surf House brings you an enriching, effective surf way, with real and fantastic Atlantic waves and with very few people on the beach and in the water. Where is this wonder possible? Well, in Baldaio beach , on the Costa de la Muerte and in the municipality of Carballo , an area far from the city of La Coruña (30 minutes by car) where surfing is an institution.

You can imagine that everyone has a place here. Those who have a lot of ability, those who have an intermediate level and those who have not taken a board in their life, even if they are already adults. Children, kids and adults can try the surf lessons we offer on Baldaio beach.

With 2-hour sessions (a perfect time to learn as long as the fatigue is not so great that progress becomes more complicated), we divide the classes into: individual, couple and group.

The groups are small and of a similar level among all the participants. Think carefully about what you are looking for and start learning to surf in La Coruña. All the material is included and the monitors have been training great surfers in Galicia for many years. You can be one of them if you sign up for these classes.

Be careful, if you think that you already have enough level to surf on your own but you have not brought the equipment, we also rent the complete equipment for hours.

surfing is learned and enjoyed at a higher level when done on beaches with good waves and few people, and at Baldaio Surf House we have those requirements, and even more, that allow us to organize a surf camp throughout the summer as a surfer family and for all ages and skill levels.

The surf house is located 5 minutes from Pedra do Sal beach , right on the Carballo coast, where we will sleep next to the waves for 5 or 6 nights camping , it depends on the week you choose to come to Baldaio. Because we start the convivialities on June 21, which last one week, including all the weeks of July and August , apart from the first of September . Come on, you can organize your holidays perfectly and choose any of our sessions to practice surfing in La Coruña.

The house has 1,000 m2 with a relaxed and spacious atmosphere, two floors and 6 rooms that can accommodate 25 people. The restaurant contains gardens with chill out spaces to disconnect in the afternoons and evenings and comment on the day's plays.

As we have said, adults and minors have a place here. We have the surf camp (for adults) and the young surf camp (for boys and girls from 8 to 17 years old). If you have never practiced, or already have experience in surfing, do not worry about the level of the classes because there are instructors and divisions for everyone. There will be intensive lessons in the mornings, leaving the afternoons for other activities, such as hiking, skateboarding, yoga or free surfing, if you wish.

Choose the perfect week for your surf camp. Carballo is away from the masses and the sea is clean and with the best waves to quickly learn one of the most beautiful sports there is. Oh, and if you live in Carballo or nearby and prefer to go to sleep at your house, you can only enroll in the day camp , it will not be a problem.
