Campamentos Mediterráneo

At Campamentos Mediterráneo we are dedicated to creating educational programs aimed at children from 7 to 17 years old that combine fun with knowledge. In this way children learn without almost realizing it. In this edition we will be active from June 29 to August 17.

We work on several axes that seek to respond to the needs of both the students who stay with us and those who remain in an external regime.

Camps with accommodation

- NEW!Technological (Tech): This year we have included the technology program in our camps, in which we will teach robotics workshops that include, in addition to English classes, "do it yourself" engineering projects ( Maker DIY) so that we can learn to make and repair electronic elements by learning and saving money, such as Raspberry Pi, designing and modeling with a 3D printer, robotics, video games... Super fun and useful for children.

- NEW! Cooking (Chef): This year we have also included the cooking program, so they will delve into coicam techniques for culinary and pastry recipes and we will combine them with fun games to encourage teamwork such as kitchen gymkhanas.

a coexistence that is characterized by combining sports with the learning of English or Spanish, in the case of foreign students. The students will sleep in wooden cabins and the food will be cooked in a restaurant. During it, nautical activities such as surfing, bodysurfing, paddle surfing, or kayaking will be carried out three afternoons a week. In addition, for one afternoon a week they will enjoy sports activities such as tennis, paddle tennis, basketball or handball. Another day there will be excursions to the multi-adventure park and the water park.

- Spanish Camp: exclusively dedicated to teaching the Spanish language. However, we maintain the activities and sports as in the previous modality.

Day camps

- Nautical and Sports Part Time: here we meet the demand of those children who wish to participate in the same way in our camp with accommodation but prefer to spend the night at home. They will remain on half board with breakfast, lunch and snack in identical circumstances as the inmates.

- English and Beach: conceived in itself as a summer school in which there will be lessons in this foreign language, games, outings and different recreational dynamics. They will have breakfast and lunch with us. Spanish classes will also be taught for foreign children.

School programs

- Language immersion: we take advantage of the low season toprovide schools with days in which we seek the rapid improvement of the English with which the students visit us, through our team of English philologists or graduates at the C2 level in the same language. Playing sports games and activities in the English language greatly helps to understand and expand vocabulary.

- End of year trips: on this occasion we prefer that the schools themselves be the ones to suggest their preferences among all our possibilities. We will be next to the beach so participants will have continuous and direct access to it.

And also, nautical camp for groups and sports camps for sports clubs and schools, in the modalities of tennis, basketball, triathlon...

Our experience with schools supports us since throughout the year we work with several educational centers to develop bilingual plans and activities of a nature.extracurricular.

At Campamentos Mediterráneo we knew that it was essential to introduce English in our programs. Without ceasing to take this into account, we did not want to put limits on the students' fun since they are on vacation and it is important to respect that. That is why this teaching is provided in combination with sports, adventure activities, excursions and games.

Between June 29 and August 17, your children will be able to participate in our camp. This will be done on a accommodation and full board basis with homemade dishes inspired by Spanish gastronomy. We make special menus for allergy sufferers or participants with food intolerances.

Accommodation will take place in wooden bungalows, shared by children of the same sex and age. At the campsite you will find a module with toilets and showers for the exclusive use of our students. The center has facilities more than prepared to host a camp of these characteristics: multipurpose rooms, a computer room and leisure areas such as a hot water spa, swimming pool and restaurant with a large dining room.

The Water Sports and Spanish camps are from June 29 to August 17. Additionally, for foreign students, these camps include Spanish classes from June 29 to July 20 and they will be able to access water sports, robotics or cooking activities.

The Chef, Chef&Water, Tech&Water and Tech camps are from June 29 to July 20 and all of them are combined with English classes.

What do the activities within our camp programs consist of?

• Water Sports: The activities that are part of the schedule are surfing, bodysurfing, paddle surfing and snorkeling, and kayaking depending on the day. Some activities or others will be carried out depending on the weather conditions and the state of the sea. There will also be time for games and workshops led by our instructors. One afternoon a week we will practice tennis, paddle tennis, basketball or soccer with our instructors who have degrees in Sports Sciences.

• Cooking classes: we will teach participants dishes and recipes that correspond to the values of the Mediterranean diet, educating them according to healthy eating. We will have kitchen professionals for this, we will prepare culinary challenges for them and we will dedicate a special space to the preparation of desserts. It is also a fun way to get started in issues such as organization and planning according to the time you have.

• Robotics and technology: with tailored programs for age groups, LEGO Makey Makey and Blocky for kids from 7 to 10years, Minecraft for those between 10 and 13 with Mods and classes on the use of TinkerCAD and MCreator. From the age of 12 to 17 they will be prepared for Maker Engineering using Arduino and 3D printing. They will be introduced to mobile apps.

On Wednesdays we will alternately visit a multi-adventure park with climbing walls, zip lines and obstacle courses and archery, and we will take excursions to a water park in the a town where children will fully enjoy their leisure time in the company of their new friends.

Also on Sundays we will take an excursion to the El Prat de Gabanes Natural Park, where we will do Gymkhanas and Snorkeling.

There is the possibility of designing this custom camp for schools and school groups in which we will take into account the preferences and objectives of the teachers to organize the schedule and other experiences.

Throughout the year we work in different schools developing bilingual plans and extracurricular activities, in addition our PK English project has the Cambridge preparation center recognition for the edition2019.

Let your children have fun like never before thanks to Mediterranean Camps. It will be the best way for them to make the most of their vacation, with boys and girls their age practicing adventure sports and learning languages. In the camp we will work on learning a foreign language: Spanish children will be taught English; and to those of other nationalities, Spanish. It will be held in the months of July and August in weekly shifts and is aimed at participants aged minimum 7 and maximum 17 years.

In addition to learning a foreign language, we want children to make the most of their vacation time. That's why we have planned a series of nautical activities that we will have fun with. We will practice surfing, body surfing and paddle surfing. We will also organize kayaking classes and trips to the open sea to practice snorkeling and diving and, in addition, aquatic gymkahnas and technical circuits. On Wednesdays we will make alternating visits to either a multi-adventure park, with a climbing wall, zip lines... or to a water park. Sundays will also be the day reserved for excursions to the El Prat de Cabanes Natural Park. The program could not be more complete!

In addition, we offer more options to our students, if you sign up for our camp between June 29 and July 20, you can complete your experience with cooking workshops (culinary gymkhana, team cooking, masterclass and application). , baking) or robotics (LEGO Mindstroms, Minecraft, Maker Arduino Engineering and 3D printing).

We will dedicate a space to cultural and creative workshops where we will take the opportunity to promote communication in the chosen foreign language (Spanish or English) in different situations and contexts.

Accommodation will be in wooden bungalows located next to the beach. Children will share a room according to their age and sex. The campsite has a shower and toilet module for the exclusive use of our students. The regime is full board with meals prepared in our own kitchen and taking into account the nutritional needs of the children. If necessary, we will prepare special menus for children with allergies or food intolerances.

The team is made up of professionals from the leisure sector and graduates in Sports Sciences. We also have teachers with degrees in English or Spanish philology or with accreditation at the C2 level of the language they are in charge of.
