Club Hípico La Gubía

The Club Hípico La Gubía was created in 2005 and is located in the Majorcan town of Bunyola , 30 kilometers west of the city of Mallorca. An ideal place to carry out any type of equine activity, since it is located in a very beautiful natural setting.

There, in the middle of nature, we organize horseback riding lasting between one and two hours through the Sierra Norte National Park or through the beaches of the Balearic Island . There is no better way to get to know the roads and landscapes of Mallorca than on the back of one of these noble animals.

We also have other services typical of an equestrian such as: the equestrian school that people of all ages can attend, whether they have experience in equestrianism or not, summer camps with horses, boarding, dressage, all kinds of children's games and horse training, etc.

The facilities have a total surface area of 50,000 square meters, so that the horses can be free and do not feel locked up or feel sad at any time. We work with respect and love for them.

Club Hípico La Gubía organizes horseback riding around Bunyola a perfect opportunity to enjoy a day in the field next to the Sierra de Tramontana . And to discover the island of Palma in a totally different way!

Our excursions on horseback take place specifically in the Sierra Norte Natural Park , in which we will enjoy the landscapes of holm oaks and cork oaks and its crystal-clear rivers. We can also contemplate the varied fauna found in this place, we can see from Iberian imperial eagles to wild boars and deer.

We also have the possibility of horseback riding along the beaches that surround the island . An experience that will undoubtedly be etched in your memory forever, since taking a walk noticing the freshness of the sea and the sea breeze, while riding a horse, is an unforgettable experience.

Although the route is always chosen according to what the clients ask for, as well as the previous experience they may have had riding a horse, therefore they are the most personalized routes.

There is also the possibility of taking longer routes, half a day or even a whole day.

In the Club Hípico La Gubía the offer of summer and Easter camps is so wide that any child or young person who wants to sign up will find their ideal camp.

These are divided into 5 large groups :

- Full-day summer camp + English: equestrian camp in which, from 5 years old, children will spend a week learning to ride a horse outdoors and doing other types of fun activities combined with practical and theoretical English classes.

- Half-day summer camp + English: Come spend the mornings with us and enjoy horseback riding and learning English in a fun way.

- Summer camp + sailing + English: This camp combines learning English and horse riding with the nautical sport of sailing.

- Riding, sailing and English Easter camp: Easter camp in which they will learn to ride a horse at the same time as they receive very fun English classes and learn to sail on a sailboat.

- Easter Riding Camp: to spend Easter enjoying this sport with other children of their age.

If you have children who are between 4 years old and 16 , reward them with the day camps that we prepare at the La Gubía Equestrian Club. They will enjoy the natural environment that the Serra de Tramuntana offers us while they make friends and learn to acquire new responsibilities thanks to the horses.

We teach the classes that make up this program in both Spanish and English to adapt to all kinds of requirements from parents. Using these languages, they will share games and activities between June 25 and August 17 , always from Monday to Friday. These are some of them:

- Riding lessons : participants will learn to ride a horse or a pony depending on their age. They will also learn basic concepts about the flip mode.

- Pony Games : these smaller horses will be the central axis of hilarious tests and challenges that will train the attendees' spirit of improvement.

- Gymkhanas , archery and orientation games: children and young people will experiment by shooting at the target and will learn to know how to identify their position.

We also have swimming pool so that they are cool throughout the summer.
